Microsoft Edge Canary Channel - A Great Place to Test Out the Latest Version of the Application
If you want to test out the latest and greatest features of Microsoft Edge, you should give it a try in the Canary channel. Not only does it give you access to all of the latest incarnations of the browser, it also allows you to see how it will perform on your particular device.
The Canary Channel is also a good place to look for the first glimpse of new investments by Microsoft. For instance, it's the place to find out if the company's native VPN is any good. However, you'll probably encounter some bugs while trying out the new features.
Among the most notable changes to the Edge Browser is the introduction of a new experimental UI. This UI has rounded tabs inspired by Windows 11, and you can test it out by turning on an experimental flag.
Another new feature is the Secure Network. This is a free, secure network that keeps track of your data usage each month. To use it, you'll need to sign in with your Microsoft account and select Secure Network. It's not exactly a full-featured VPN, but it's still a great feature to have if you're sharing sensitive information online.
One cool feature is the Drop. This lets you send files from your PC to your Android phone. But it's not widely rolled out, so you'll need to test it out. In fact, it's easy to test out the Drop feature in the Canary channel.
